History
Dr. Karina Marr has spent most of her life living and serving her community in North Texas. She was in the charter class of the International Baccalaureate magnet program at Plano East Senior High School. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2000 with a B.S. in Psychology. She completed her dental degree at Baylor College of Dentistry-Texas A&M Health Science Center in 2005, earning a place on the Dean's Cumulative Honor List (awarded to the select handful of dental students named to the Dean's List each and every year of their dental training) and inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society (honoring her as one of only ten students chosen from the upper twenty percent of their dental class). Upon graduation, Dr. Marr spent three years in Austin, where she practiced general dentistry before pursuing an advanced degree specializing in dentistry for children.
