HistoryDarryl Kirbo opened Kirbo's Office Systems in 1972 as a one-man typewriter business serving San Angelo and Brownwood, TX. After rapid growth, Bruce Stewart joined our team in 1981 after an engineering career with GTE. As computers began to rise in popularity during the mid-80s, Darryl and Bruce investigated copiers and were fortunate enough to make Kirbo's an authorized dealer for the first copier line, Canon! Then, as the demand for printers grew rapidly, the team quickly added Lexmark printers to our all-star lineup. Because we're a smaller, family-run business, we still know what's important: the customer's happiness.
