History
A Texas native, I grew up in a bi-cultural, tri-lingual Swiss German-American household in the US and Switzerland. I learned at an early age to transcend the boundaries in a rapidly changing world. In 2006 I obtained my master's degree in social work from Texas State University. I received my license in clinical social worker in 2011 and my chemical dependency counselor license in 2012. In 2015 I opened my practice in beautiful downtown San Marcos and have had the privilege to work with so many amazing people on their path to healing and personal growth.
Specialties
I work with college students and young adults who are experiencing anxiety and depression. You are usually highly successful and thrive in school, but things have changed. Your friends have drifted away and you feel overwhelmed, lonely and not like yourself lately. I can help you to untangle your racing thoughts and gain control over feeling out of control. Together we will make sense of what you are going through and find practical solutions to your problems.
