Dr. Matthew McCarley is a fellowship-trained orthopedic hand surgeon. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biology and Bachelor of Arts in the Plan II Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin in 2009. He earned his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock in 2013. Dr. McCarley completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2018, where he also served as Administrative Chief Resident for one year. He completed a Hand Surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama and Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine in 2019. Following his post-graduate training, Dr. McCarley worked as an orthopedic hand surgeon at Orthopaedic Specialists, Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Louisiana. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in April 2022.
