Established in 1928, Marshall Junior High School is a public middle school offering educational and enrichment programs to students in grades seven and eight. It offers courses in various subjects, including English, foreign languages, math, science and social studies. It also offers technology and physical education and language development programs. The school additionally provides physical education programs and various sports, such as football, volleyball and track. It also provides library and media centers with a large collection of books, electronic resources and Internet access and English as second language program. It also provides extracurricular activities and clubs, such as art, band, choir, keyboarding, orchestra, theater, speech, debate and journalism, and chess and drama clubs. The school is located in Murfreesboro, N.C., and also provides special education programs.
