The Marbridge Foundation, founded in 1953, provides residential services and rehabilitation programs to patients suffering from mental disorders and physical disabilities. The center provides educational programs, recreational and social activities and vocational training to residents. It offers a variety of services, such as employment support, skill development classes, transportation facilities and medical assistance. The amenities offered by the center include campus chapel, recreation rooms, dining areas, an art studio, computer laboratories, gymnasiums, swimming pool, softball fields, an outdoor amphitheater, game preserve, dining and activities pavilion, horse stables, livestock barn and walking trails. It also has Marbridge Garden Center spread over an area of more than 50,000 square feet. The Marbridge Foundation is approved by the Texas Rehabilitation Commission and has a more than 300-acre campus located in Manchaca, Texas.
