History
Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts was built for the students of the district as well as the commuity.
Specialties
The Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts is a dual-purpose facility. The Claude H. Cunningham Peformance Hall is a versatile auditorium to be used for many types of events and has several different seating configurations. The largest accomodates 5,500 visitors with additional seating for 500 on stage. The two side wings can be closed off from the main auditorium for smaller presentations with theater seating for 650 a piece. The John Washington Professional Development Center houses a large banquet area that, when fully opened, can seat up to 500. It can also be divided into six separate break-out rooms to meet a variety of special event needs. The Development Center all includes three U-shaped computer labs for technology presentations and trainings for up to 30 people each.
