History

We, Lim's Chicken, opened our first restaurant in 1977 at the Shin-sae-gye Department Store in Korea. Fried chicken was not a popular dish in Korea at that time, and most Koreans cooked chickens only in traditional ways of braised chicken or making chicken soup. Lim's chicken started cooking and serving fried chicken pieces in Korean market since 1977. This was how the fried chicken restaurant industry first emerged in Korea forty years ago. Lim's Chicken earned the title of the first chicken franchise restaurant. We, Lim's Chicken, have made arduous efforts to keep our promises to serve the best and the most delicious chickens to our customers, and we continually research for better and healthier recipes. Our chickens are neither very luxurious nor fancy, but we are always faithful to our customers in preparation and cooking our dishes with healthy, fresh, and best quality chickens.
