Ross Elementary School
Ross Elementary is a part of the Clear Creek Independent School District, which operates several elementary, intermediate, alternative and high schools. Ross Elementary was founded in 1965 with more than 390 students and over 20 teachers. The school s name was changed in 1969 when the district officially dedicated the school to the memory of longtime League City businessman, civic leader and former president of the school district, James Haydn Ross. It serves students in kindergarten through grade five and offers a variety of general academic and extracurricular courses. Ross Elementary operates a parent-teacher association that supports and speaks on behalf of the children and youth in the school. Its facility includes a library and art and science laboratories. The school is located in League City, Texas.
