History
This is a great question. My cousin and I were thinking of going into the mobile food service business. We saved our money to purchase the truck, which was a little small 16ft box truck. The cost to have the inside of the truck made into a kitchen was roughly $8500. We didn't have that kind of cash and the interest on loans were ridiculous. We decided that we would move people in order to generate the money. In the beginning I don't think there was a respect for moving, because that wasn't the goal. The goal was to become some kind of mobile food guy. As you begin moving more and more people, you get an appreciation for people and the job you are doing for them. My job allows me to meet some really remarkable people, some that are facing huge obstacles and some that are living their lives. I have a great deal of respect for every family that we move, and we have the same amount of respect for their belongings. If Last Second Movers have ever moved you...Thank you!
