History
The Stables roots started in Lajitas, Texas, small resort town along the Rio Grande outside of Big Bend National Park. After a few years the Lajitas Stables moved up river, closer to Big Bend Ranch State Park. About the same time the Big Bend Stables were established in Study Butte, TX, near the National Park. Along the way, the Rio Grande Stables were established in the Taos Ski Valley during the summer times to escape the desert heat and to enjoy the higher elevations.
