Kendra Bookout, M.D., was born and raised in Odessa, Texas. She received her Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University, graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Bookout attained her Doctorate of Medicine from Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Bookout is passionate about women's health throughout all phases of life and seeks to give honest individualized attention to every patient under her care. She has been trained to manage both low and high-risk pregnancies, as well as the particular needs of the menopausal patient. Some of her special interests include da Vinci robotic surgery and advanced laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, urogynecological procedures, such as those to treat urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders, and the management of uterine fibroids and heavy uterine bleeding. Dr. Bookout lives in the Round Rock area with her husband, Rod, their son Luke, and an energetic dog named Charlie. In her free time, she enjoys bike-riding, theatre and musicals, and spending time with family and friends.
