Corpus Christi Yacht Club
Established in 1923, Corpus Christi Yacht Club is one of the oldest yacht clubs in the Gulf Coast. It offers various sailboat racing and cruising activities, and active racing programs involving tactics sessions, practice racing and open and invitational regattas. It also organizes various events, such as the Corpus Christi Yacht Club race week that features various races including the bill best and frostbite regattas. It also offers a dining room overlooking the bay that offers various dishes, such as pecan crusted lamb, tilapia Florentine, seared tuna puttanesca, grilled jumbo diver scallops, veal du jour, steak or mahi Oscar, cedar planked salmon filet, sashimi-style tuna loin, grille baby lamb rack, and center-cut filet mignon. It also serves various desserts, such as chocolate sour cream cake, pecan ball, cr me brulee, coconut cream pie, key lime pie and cheesecake. The yacht club is located in Corpus Christi, Texas.
