Original store was opened in 1985 as Straw Fox Hardware. In 1993, the store sold and the name was changed to Jamaica Beach Hardware. The current owners purchased the business in 1997 and doubled its size in 2013.

Jamaica Beach Hardware is a small hardware store on the west end of Galveston Island. We offer convenience for the homeowners and contractors and provide good old-fashioned type service.

Amazingly well stocked and convenient. Neither Home Depot or Lowes carried 1" CPVC fittings. JBH carries all of them. Friendly staff too.
