Holy Spirit Episcopal School is a private, independent, coeducational parish school, offering students a varied academic program, and is located in Houston. Founded in 1962, as an outreach ministry of Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, it is divided into four groups. Its child enrichment center offers infants and toddlers programs that provide numerous opportunities for active play, social interaction and individual nurturing, where infants learn basic life skills from hand washing to prayer. Its early childhood section, meant for children up to 5-years of age, expedites development through opportunities to acquire, apply, adapt, integrate and evaluate knowledge. Holy Spirit Episcopal School s lower school spans kindergarten through fourth grade with a core curriculum based on subjects, such as language arts, science, math and social studies. In middle school, students attend language arts, math, science, foreign language, social studies and physical education classes.
