The Greater East End Management District ( GEEMD ) is requesting information from qualified design professional service teams for potential participation in the urban planning, streetscape design, landscape design, engineering, construction management, and construction phase services associated with a portion of the GEEMD Livable Centers Plan funded through Federal Stimulus funding by the Federal Transit Authority in the amount of $5, 000, 000 ( the RFQ ). Join First Lady Kathy Hubbard and Former First Lady and Port Commissioner Elyse Lanier for a celebration of Houston's famous waterway. Bayou Clean Up 9 a.m. to 10: 30 a.m. ( gloves and trash bags provided ) and Flash and Trash Fashion Show 11 a.m. to noon, featuring recycled garments by HCC design students and produced by Neal Hamil models.
