Established in 2007, Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas is a youth organization for girls that stresses on full-individual potential development. Based in San Antonio, Texas, the scouts serve a total of 21 counties in the San Antonio, El Camino, Lone Star and Greater South Texas jurisdictions. The group is made up of 18,000 girl scouts in the region and around three million girl scouts across the United States. Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas host activities, such as field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges and environmental stewardships.
