Gentle Healing Arts: Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine was first established in Newport News, Virginia in 2006, where it was well received by the community. Family obligations required the closing of Mrs. Gewirtzman's Newport News office while her family relocated twice, to Texas and New York, expanded to include a beautiful son, and adjusted to her husband's dermatology residency schedule. While in Westchester, NY Mrs. Gewirtzman reopened her practice to a select client list and furthered her academic knowledge with additional courses and seminars, including Acupuncture Without Boarders two-day training on establishing trauma clinics. Finally, Gentle Healing Arts can reopen at its new home in Austin, TX.
