The company offsets the risks associated with these exploration efforts with the development of shallow reserves over the Southern Illinois Basin, including water flooding of Pennsylvanian sands, in Crawford County, Illinois. MDM Energy, Inc currently operates several waterflood ( secondary recovery ) projects in the Main Consolidated field located in Crawford County, Illinois. The field has produced 300, 000, 000 barrels of oil.
