Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council, located in Irving, Texas, is a nonprofit trade association for hospitals in the Dallas and Fort Worth area of Texas, and focuses on improvement of health care in the region. The association consists of various hospitals and health care organizations throughout the north Texas region spanning a more than 100-mile radius. It is governed by a more than 10-member board of trustees that consists of various hospital chief executive officers and chief operating officers. The trade association's membership consists of hospitals licensed by the state as acute care facilities. Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council s associate membership is made up of health care-related businesses and organizations linked to several local, state and national health industries.
