Established in 1965, Dallas County Community College offers a variety of undergraduate courses through various campuses. It has more than five campuses throughout the United States, including Brookhaven College, Cedar Valley College and the R. Jan LeCroy Center for Educational Telecommunications. The college employs more than 6,900 full- and part-time faculty, staff and administrators. It is approved by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools for providing the associate degrees. The college also organizes various programs that include faculty professional development day, gymnastics, conferences, leadership speaker series and sports events. It additionally provides certification in food protection management, medication aide, Microsoft office specialist, personal training and phlebotomy. The college is located in Dallas.
