History
Crowe's Nest Farm is 501C3 non-profit educational organization founded in 1983 by a determined life-long public educator with a passion for children and the life sciences. Dr. Diane Crowe, an Austin-area educator with 43 years experience as a teacher and principal, began Crowe's Nest Farm as a result of a growing collection of animals and gardens at her schools. Her drive to enhance educational environments with hands-on learning, and provide sanctuary for many abused, neglected, injured and orphaned animals now reaches over 40,000 children and visitors annually.
