Established in 1948, Clinical Pathology Laboratories is a clinical center that offers diagnostic testing services to patients and clients. Its staff of certified pathologists provides anatomic pathology, cytology and clinical laboratory consultative services. With a presence in Houston, the organization conducts maternal blood testing procedures to detect various birth problems, such as Down syndrome, Trisomy 18 and open neural tube defect. Clinical Pathology Laboratories offers examination services for cystic fibrosis screening and conducts glucose tolerance and urinalysis tests. It also provides medical testing services for adenovirus, allergies, hemoglobin, thyroid, hepatitis, cancer and cardiovascular diseases. The organization maintains more than 100 patient service centers throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and New Mexico.
