The City of Fort Worth Animal Shelter page was developed as an educational outreach forum to promote adoptions, pet-friendly events and other positive issues that result in higher adoptions, fewer unwanted and abandoned pets and a more livable, pet-friendly Fort Worth. Comments and conversation is encouraged as it relates to responsible pet ownership, pet adoptions, rescues, fostering and general goodwill on behalf other the shelter pets, partner organizations, volunteers and staff associated with the City of Fort Worth Animal Shelter.
