HistoryTalon Point was originally built as New Beginnings Christian Retreat in the mid 1980's and was given to our current owners, Panhandle Children's Foundation, Inc. in 2006 to serve as a camp facility for Disabled Children. In between camps we host events such as Weddings, Family Reunions, Fundraisers, Class Reunions and Christian Retreats to name a few.SpecialtiesTalon Point is a retreat center located in the countryside with spectacular sunrises and sunsets. We have 42 guest rooms, each with 2 double beds and private bath. In addition we have various sizes of meeting spaces that will accommodate groups from 10 to 300. Add to that our ability to cater your events, serving true Texas Bar-B-Q, steaks and pork chops with all the trimmings and wonderful dessert selections.
