Dr. Farjo is board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He graduated valedictorian from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine and was a recipient of the University President and Dean Award. He moved to the United States in 2003 for post-graduate training. Dr. Farjo completed a two-year internship in General Surgery and Organ Transplantation at the University of Miami and then completed a three-year Internal Medicine residency at Union Memorial Hospital/University of Maryland in Baltimore. He then enrolled in a three-year Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship training at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston. At The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, he achieved the highest board scores among his peers.
