History
I have been caretaker here on this 11 acres for the past 20 years. I farm the trees. This land was once crossed by Highway 26 from Daingerfield to Longview across lone Star lake , changed to 997 and moved over closer to the lake in the late 50s . It Was once the home of native peoples and was used by the Community children for outdoor games. The one room school house was on the next property over. Now completely forested it is used by wildlife and birds for habitat and foraging.
