Bare Bones opened its doors in February 2015 with a desire to serve the community and our military with the best Texas Style Barbeque possible. Being near the Ft. Hood Military reservation, we have made it our goal to make regular customers out of folk who may not have been to Texas before. Much less, taste our great way of cooking beef, pork, and chicken.
Specialties
Here at Bare Bones Barbeque, we specialize in fresh smoked meats and handmade sides. All of our meat is covered with our house-made seasoning, and slow-smoked with local Pecan wood. We also specialize in homemade, grandma style desserts (made with LOVE), such as cobblers and candy bar cakes. Another practice we have mastered is the art of making sausage. Our mild, garlic,jalapeno cheese, and jalapeno sausage is all cut, ground, stuffed and rolled by hand, in house.
