Austin Recovery is a compassionate, community-based treatment provider for substance use disorders that helps individuals and families rebuild their lives free from drugs and alcohol. Austin Recovery is the city's oldest non-profit treatment center for adults with substance use disorders, serving the Central Texas community since 1967. The recovery needs of our most vulnerable populations are at the core of our mission to provide treatment to all who need it, regardless of ability to pay. Austin Recovery has helped tens of thousands find a new life in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction by providing effective and compassionate residential addiction treatment for individuals from across central Texas and throughout the state. Our transformational treatment model brings about in-depth cognitive, behavioral and spiritual changes essential for overcoming addiction - giving our clients and their families a new freedom and a life full of promise in recovery.
Specialties
Austin Recovery's full continuum of care for substance dependence includes: * Residential 30 and 90-day programs, for adult men and women and including individualized and group treatment. * Medical Detox for adult men and women. * Family House: Austin Recovery is one of only a handful of treatment centers in Texas offering women the opportunity to bring their children (ages 0-5) with them into 90 days of treatment by providing onsite daycare and a parent educator. This allows women to focus fully on recovery without worrying about their family. * Outpatient and Aftercare Services: weekly counseling and classes. * Alumni Association: The Austin Recovery Alumni Association helps clients transition to a new life with new friends in sobriety. The ultimate goal is recovery without relapse and establishing healthy behaviors.
