AMRI manufactures butterfly valves, quarter-turn actuators and accessories for many markets, including chemical, petrochemical, pulp and paper, water and semiconductor. The company specializes in butterfly valves fully lined with Teflon or elastomer. These valves provide tight shut-off and zero stem leakage for all types of process applications. AMRI s focus is on the highly engineered portion of the valve and actuator market. Its valves are often used in place of other types of valves, such as plug and ball valves, where tight shut off is required. The valves are used in brine purification, wet and dry chlorine gas, isolation of chlorine compressors, caustic, sulfuric acid and cooling water. Additionally, AMRI manufactures a range of direct mounting manual, pneumatic, electric and hydraulic actuators. Headquartered in Houston, AMRI is the subsidiary of the KSB Group responsible for servicing valve customers throughout the United States and Canada.
