I started locksmithing the old fashion way i apprenticed under a master locksmith. After spending time with him i graduated to having my own company in mid 2000. My wife had a opportunity, that we could not pass up, so we moved from Florida to Spring TX. in 2004. My business has gone from mobile to shop and back to mobile operation. The name has also changed it was originally Affordable Locksmith of Spring. Then a good friend suffered an untimely death and i took over his shop in Tomball TX. it was at that point the company changed its name to Affordable Locksmith of Texas. The B18868 following the name is my texas registration number. All locksmiths must have a lic number and carry a pocket card with them at all times. Myself and my employees wear ours exposed around our necks. If you call out a locksmith and they cant produce a pocket card then they are more than likely operating illegally.
