City Hall is comprised of various departments, including public safety, recreation, police, fir, economic development, and building and codes. It is operated under the government of the city of Winchester, Tenn. Its police and fire departments provide a variety of services in the areas of law enforcement, protection and prevention, as well as administer several programs to assist residents in public safety awareness and education. City Hall s building and codes department is responsible for the administration and supervision of the inspections and codes enforcement compliance programs adopted by the city. It also includes a public works department that operates and maintains utilities and infrastructural systems, as well as offers services related to streets, sanitation, cemetery and animal control.
