Established in 1959, St. Jude School serves more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade eight. Its facilities include a cafeteria, library, media center, an auditorium, and multipurpose and resource rooms. The school promotes students participation in various projects, such as Ladies of Charity, Thanksgiving Food Baskets and Toys for the Angel Tree. St. Jude School sports activities include golf, basketball, volleyball, soccer and baseball. In addition, it hosts book fairs, exhibitions, campaigns, field trips and workshops. The school operates religion, language arts, math, reading, science and social studies departments. St. Jude School conducts classes on physical education, music and computer technology. Located in Chattanooga, Tenn., it is a part of St. Jude Parish, which also operates a church.
