OPEN YEAR 'ROUND! We cater to first time and 'rusty' riders!. Kids ages 3 and up are encouraged to ride their own horse, with or without the help of a lead line. Kids under 3 can double up with Mom or Dad as long as both fit comfortably in the saddle. We offer 30, 45, & 60 minute guided trail rides on well maintained & shaded trails. Some weight restrictions apply. Our facilities are clean and our horses are happy and healthy. Our staff of professional trail guides know their stuff. Our horses are in excellent condition. In addition to getting days off, our horses rest in the shade of the barn between rides... not tied up in the hot sun. If your child refuses to ride the big horses at the stables please consider the Deer Farm Pony Rides located on the same property as the Deer Farm Riding Stables & the Smoky Mountain Deer Farm Exotic Petting zoo.Our 45 minute "All weather" trail is fully graveled with a top surface of fine gravel. No slippage from rain created mud.
