McNairy Central High School
McNairy Central High School, located in Selmer, Tenn., is governed by the McNairy County School District. It teaches classes from nine through grade 12, and enrolls more than 700 students. The school provides a wide variety of academic programs, such as computer technology, foreign languages, health education, music and arts, science, mathematics, English and social studies. It also offers advanced career development courses in the higher secondary level. McNairy Central High School has various clubs and associations, including band and choir, National Honor Society, student government association, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, teenage republicans and young democrats, and nonvocational clubs. It also provides various athletic activities, such as cheerleading, basketball, baseball, football, golf, volleyball, tennis and soccer.
