BIOGRAPHY Dr. Vaughan graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 1991 with Highest Honors as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Prior to earning his Degree in Medicine, he attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Biology and Zoology. Dr. Vaughan served his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis and his orthopaedic surgery residency at the renowned Campbell Clinic. Dr. Vaughan joined Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in August of 1996. His practice focuses on upper Extremity and Sports Medicine. He is currently on the medical staff at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tennessee. His specialty interests include arthroscopic procedures and rotator cuff surgery. In addition, he holds a certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Vaughan and his wife live in Murfreesboro and have three children. He enjoys running, swimming, cycling, and skiing.
