KAVOD is a non-profit organization based in Memphis, TN, dedicated to ensuring dignity and honor for Holocaust Survivors in the United States. Established in 2015, KAVOD partners with Jewish Family Service and other Human Services organizations across the country to provide emergency assistance and day-to-day support for Survivors, helping them live comfortably in their remaining years.
With a diverse and experienced Board of community leaders, many of whom are children of Survivors, KAVOD has filled over 62,000 Emergencies as a secondary resource since its inception. Through their efforts, KAVOD serves Holocaust Survivors in over 60 communities nationwide, raising awareness about the ongoing crisis and working tirelessly to support this vulnerable senior community.
