History
I started baking cakes in 1976, when we were blessed with a new addition to our family. I wanted to make his birthday cakes, so I taught myself to decorate cakes. When I would take them to his daycare, people would ask me to make cakes for their children and it just snowballed from there. I finally got the catering bug and in 1998 attended the Opryland Hotel Culinary Institute. I graduated in 2001, and after not being able to find a location I could afford, with help from my Brother-in-law Tom, and a bunch of family and friends, we built our current building (yes, BEHIND my house-thank you Smyrna codes for a variance) and have been here almost 9 years now.
