Jean and Alexander Heard Library maintains collections of government information, DVDs and videos, digital and electronic books, and theses and dissertations. It also provides articles and databases in the areas of astronomy, anthropology, engineering, history, linguistics, mathematics and managerial studies. The library houses study materials in the fields of education, law, psychology, theater, sociology and Latin American studies. Jean and Alexander Heard Library offers interlibrary loan programs and alert and faculty delivery services. It houses networked personal computers, circulating laptops, adaptive workstations, printers and other equipment. The library provides research assistance and guidance services. Jean and Alexander Heard Library is a part of Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.
