Tennessee High School
Tennessee High School serves more than 1,100 students in grades nine through 12. Founded in 1939, it offers a wide variety of academic courses, including language arts, English, mathematics, science, social studies, computers, special education and foreign languages. The high school offers advanced placement and accelerated courses in various subjects, including English, history, biology, chemistry, physics, art, psychology, physical science, geometry and algebra. It provides a variety of athletic activities, such as baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. The high school s library offers various online magazines and newspapers, reference collections, reserve books, career-related materials and printing services. It offers various extracurricular activities, including clubs, leadership challenges, newspaper, band, the National Honor Society, peer tutoring and student council. The high school is operated by Bristol Tennessee City Schools, and is located in Bristol, Tenn.
