Blackman High School offers education to more than 1,600 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, computers, and health and physical education. The school also provides career and technology courses that include marketing, agriculture, graphic communications, information technology, electronic media, criminal justice, health science, family and consumer sciences, and culinary arts. Its athletic department offers a variety of sports activities to students, including wrestling, football, volleyball, football, golf, cross country, bowling, hockey, swimming, tennis, and track and field. The school also has a multimedia center that includes a TV, computers with network connection, and printing facilities. It offers various club activities to students, such as drama, Frisbee, French and Spanish, history, key, and pep and science clubs. Blackman High School is located in Murfreesboro, Tenn., and is affiliated with the Rutherford County School District.
