To provide our membership competitive financial and related services in a professional and friendly atmosphere, while pursuing growth and a positive community image. A credit union is a cooperative, not-for-profit financial institution chartered by the state or federal government. It is member-owned and controlled by its members through a board of directors elected by the membership. The board serves on a volunteer basis to establish and revise policies, set dividend and loan rates, and direct certain operations. The result: Members are provided with a safe, convenient place to save and borrow at reasonable rates. Ft Randall Federal Credit union was chartered in 1951. The charter was to serve local federal employees, employees of the Pickstown School District and their immediate family members. The charter was expanded in November, 1990 to a community-wide charter to serve anyone who lives or works in Charles Mix County and their family members. In July, 2002, the charter was further expanded to include anyone who worships, volunteers or attends school in Charles Mix County. Ft Randall Federal Credit Union provides services to anyone who lives, works, worships, volunteers, or attends school in Charles Mix County and their immediate family. Immediate family members of current members would include: Spouse, Children, Parents, Siblings, and Grandparents. Business accounts are welcome.
