HistoryIn 2010 when the banking system in America took it nose dive not-for-profit across the United States were in trouble. Donors and Patrons just stop giving their donations. Le Cafe Jazz was created to save the educational projects and programs offered by the Skipp Pearson Jazz Foundation to continue the mission of the preservations of live jazz music and the on-going efforts to foster a greater appreciation of live jazz music performances. The Cafe Jazz is the City of Columbia's premiere listening venue for live jazz music performances. Managed by a dedicated team of volunteers who represent the Skipp Pearson Jazz Foundation (the Foundation), Le Cafe Jazz is a place to enjoy the best in classic, straight ahead and R&B live music.
