South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind offers programs for elementary, middle and high schools. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Conference of Educational Administrators of Schools and Programs for the Deaf. The school offers various support services, such as speech and language therapies and audiology, psychology and counseling services. It also offers a variety of special instructional services, including vocational training, independent living skills, and physical and health education. The school organizes a range of athletic activities that include track and field, football, volleyball, basketball, soccer and cheerleading.
