History
The Schooner Pride was built in Younges Island, SC in the late 80's and was owned by a couple on John's Island for a number of years. She is modeled after the coastal trading schooners of the 18th century that carried supplies to the plantations. The owners of Charleston Harbor Tours bought the vessel in 2005 and have since made a great name for her. She has undergone extensive renovations and is receiving some more this year. The Pride is consistently voted as one of the top things to do in Charleston by locals and visitors alike. It is a truly unique way to experience the splendor of Charleston Harbor.
