HistoryRod Engard formed Engard Real Estate Company in 1996 as a full service sales and marketing company for property on Hilton Head Island, Bluffton and the Low Country of South Carolina. In 1999, Engard Rental Company was formed to assist our clients in managing and renting their property. We are members of the Board of Realtors, Multiple Listing Service of Hilton Head and Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors. Rod's affiliations include past President of the Hilton Head Island Board of Realtors, former National Director (10 years) for the state of South Carolina Homebuilder's Association and most current Vice-President for the Board of Trustees for the Multiple Listing Service of Hilton Head. Beginning with the opening of Bluffton High School in 2004, Engard Real Estate Company provides annual student scholarships and Teacher of the Year awards, as well as providing team practice football jerseys to the Bluffton Bobcats.
