Dr. Patrick M. Bik is a podiatric foot and ankle surgeon who specializes in the treatment of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. His clinical interests include foot and ankle reconstruction, trauma, sports injuries, wound care, diabetic limb salvage, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Bik is a native of South Jersey and completed his undergraduate studies at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biology. He was a member of the Rowan University NCAA Division III men’s soccer team and was recognized as a scholar athlete. He suffered several foot and ankle injuries as a college athlete, which sparked his passion for sports medicine and lower extremity pathology. He attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he graduated in the top ten of his class and was a member of the Stirling-Harford-DiPrimio Honorary Anatomical Society. He then completed a four-year residency in podiatric medicine and surgery (reconstructive rear-foot and ankle surgery) at Temple University Hospital in North Philadelphia. He served as chief resident during his final year and was trained in the latest foot and ankle surgical techniques. He has lectured at conferences, published research, and was appointed clinical adjunct assistant professor in the department of surgery at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys exercising, playing guitar, watching Philly sports, and spending time with his wife and daughter. Dr. Bik is excited to serve the needs of the Orangeburg community!
