History
The business started off with Olan Johnson, which is where the 'OJ' in OJ's Diner originated from. Having cooked for many years along side Mrs. Macbee he brought her traditional southern menu to his establishment. Not long into opening Olan fell ill passing the restaurant on his sister Lonita Johnson and her son Gregorey Johnson. From there we have grown, opening up a second location in Easley SC where our first location has stood in Greenville SC.
Specialties
We specialize in Southern Cuisine. We have one of the tastiest fried chicken recipes in town along with side items such as turnip greens and baked mac & cheese just like grandma use to make.
