The Mount Pleasant Library is a public library and a part of the Charelston County Public Library system. It offers e books for downloading, books, magazines, CD's, videos and DVDs. This branch features an auditorium and a conference room open for public use. The branch manager here is Cindy Schweinfest. This library offers color copying and printing for 25 cents each. Black and white copying and printing is offered here for 10 cents a page. There are computer work stations with MS Office. Library card application is offered online as well as in person at this branch.

Village Library

Charleston County Libraries has youth reading programs all summer long. For the youngest to mid-teen, these programs are designed to get your child interested in reading books. Internet services are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Computer classes are available and the labs are open certain hours for one to come in and practice.
