History
McConkey's was born around a bonfire on March 19, 2007 by some recently unemployed cooks and servers that simply needed jobs. The current location had been vacant for 6 months or so and formerly housed a seasonal restaurant called the Ruby Seahorse. The Ruby was a local favorite and was sorely missed. Several of the most popular menu items from the Ruby's heyday are still the most requested meals at McConkey's today. McConkey's is now open year round and employs more than 20 people passionate about delicious food and friendly prompt service.
